Mihajlovic: Regardless of Pristina's threats, we are fighting for peace in Kosovo and Metohija
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Zorana Mihajlovic said today that the policy of the government and the president of the Republic is to fight for a compromise solution and peace in Kosovo, regardless of pressure and problems, because this is the only way to ensure development and survival of people.
"All messages and threats coming from Pristina are alarming, and that is the basis of all problems. Regardless of all that, our policy, the policy of the state of Serbia, the government and the president of the Republic, are talks and compromise," said Mihajlovic.
According to her, it is the only way to preserve the country and create conditions in which people will want to live and work, her ministry announced in a statement.
"It is not easy, especially considering the pressure we are facing, considering the energy crisis in the whole of Europe, and it would not be easy for any country, but what is important for the citizens is that there is a clear state policy on Kosovo and Metohija and the message that we will always fight for a compromise, because we want peace. This is the only way to develop and for people to live," Mihajlovic told reporters in Krusevac, where she visited an elementary school and a kindergarten reconstructed as part of a project to increase energy efficiency.
