10 kilograms of pure cocaine have been seized at the Batrovci border crossing between Serbia and Croatia. The value of the drugs is estimated at around one million euros, and the stash was found when the passenger seat was inspected.

Telegraf.rs has learned that cocaine originates from Peru in South America.

It was was found in a Mercedes with German license plates, driven by Serbian citizen M.J. (37).

"The cocaine was found in nine identical packets near the gearbox and in the passenger seat mat. An expert determined that its purity is between 93 and 99 percent. It was intended for mixing, where its quantity would be tripled," says our interlocutor close to the investigation.

The case has been taken over by the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade.
