Busovata is part of the newest national park in Serbia: A kingdom of greenery and tranquility
The Busovata nature reserve is located at 1,250 meters above sea level on Mt. Beljanica - a part of the Kucaj-Beljanica National Park, the newest national park in Serbia.
Along with Suvi Do, Prerast and Mala Tisnica Rivers Confluence, Samar Prerast, Beljanica South, Resava Gorge, Suvaja Gorge, Vinatovaca, and Lazar's Canyon, Busovata is under the first degree protection regime.
This unique area has the best-preserved part of the beech woods in this national park.
At the same time, Busovata represents a unique eco entity that was created by spontaneous development of well-preserved endemic forest vegetation.
The interesting terrain is extremely attractive to both mountaineers and cyclists who are ready to go on an adventure and get to know this part of Serbia from a different angle.
There are many who come to Busovata and decide to pitch their tents on the green glades and spend the night in a natural environment where untouched nature and pristine peace reign supreme.
