Serbia captain Dusan Tadic confirms he punched his attacker in the head, and adds: "Let them try again"
The captain of the Serbian national football team, Dusan Tadic, who plays for Ajax and also captains that squad, spoke after the news was leaked that he was recently attacked near his home in Amsterdam, and explained what exactly happened.
Two robbers wearing helmets tried to rob the footballer, and the target was probably his watch.
But Tadic did not take this lying down, he even managed to take one of the robber's helmet off and hit him in the head. He confirmed this for Sportski Zuranal.
"Yes, that's correct. It happened, but it went well. A fist to the head. One of them fell to the ground twice. They are free to try again," said Tadic.
The Serbian footbaler's words are best illustrated by a photo from the press conference held after the Dutch Super Cu game, showing him with bandaged fingers, suggesting he really punched of the attackers.
