Apocalyptic scenes of wildfire near Bar: Cars pass by the blaze engulfing everything; people get injured

Firefighters are still fighting a wildfire that broke out in the area of Bar, and since this morning, helicopters of the Army of Montenegro have been helping the effort to put it out at a site near Crvena Plaza, close to Crvanj.

Officials say that the fire has been put under control this morning, but during the night the situation was dramatic. The videos taken last night on the road leading from Bar to Susanj show the fire engulfing everything ahead. The scenes looked literally like something in hell.

Two people who were helping extinguish the fire got lightly injured.

After several hours, traffic was this morning restored on the road, while rail traffic is still suspended.

The settlements of Vitici and Peranovici in Gornji Susanj are still without electricity.

Two helicopters of the Army of Montenegro have flown over the site of the fire on several occasions since this morning, helping to put it out.
