Video of flames engulfing an apartment in Belgrade: Thick smoke billowing, upset neighbors watching

A fire broke out in a building in Vidikovacki Venac in Belgrade this morning, in which one person was killed.

The fire engulfed the eighth floor of the residential building. The cause is still unknown.

As can be seen in the videos taken at the scene, the fire was so strong that it could be seen from neighboring buildings.

Flames engulfed the balcony from which thick smoke billowed. It can also be seen that upset neighbors from other apartments were watching the fire.

After the fire was extinguished, only soot was visible on the outside of the building.

Firefighters, police and emergency services quickly arrived at the scene, and eight teams of firefighters managed to quickly put the blaze under control.

Unfortunately, one person die, most likely as a result of smoke inhalation.
