The candidate to put together the new government will come either from the SNS list, or possibly from the list of one of the coalition partners, with whom an agreement should be reached in 10 to 15 days, President Aleksandar Vucic said last night.

Asked if he may have a shortlist of candidates for the post of prime minister after consulting with representatives of election lists, Vucic said that it is not much different now from what was already known about who could be entrusted with putting together a new government.

"In about 10 days we will know more, and depending on that, a PM-designate will be proposed," said Vucic.

He pointed out that it is clear that it will be someone either from the list of the SNS or possibly from the list of one of the coalition partners, with whom those gathered around the SNS should reach an agreement in the next 10 to 15 days.
