A living fairy-tale, an air spa and an open-air ethno museum: Discover the beauty of Kamena Gora
Kamena Gora is located in the southwest of Serbia, near Prijepolje. It is a mountain dominated by coniferous woods, medicinal herbs and more than a hundred springs of water.
According to tradition, it got its name ("Rock Mountain") because a mountain sprung up on a rock, and everyone who visited it says that it is a true air spa and a "living fairy tale."
In addition, Kamena Gora is also an open-air ethno museum. Tourist accommodation facilities are architecturally integrated into the environment, so the ethno settlement is made of wood and stone.
Nature lovers come here most often, in search of intoxicating scent of pine trees, hikes on the slopes where 250 types of medicinal plants grow and reaching mountain peaks, the highest of which is located at 1,496 meters above sea level.
There is also a bicycle path for guests who want to get to know Kamena Gora on a two-wheel tour.
In addition to guests from Serbia, more and more people are arriving from the region, but also from other continents. Delighted by the hospitality and natural beauties, visitors from abroad come here to "recharge batteries" and enjoy special dishes characteristic of this region.
