Brnabic and RS prime minister meet: Conversation focused on energy and food supplies, and joint projects
Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and RS Prime Minister Radovan Viskovic met on Monday over a working lunch to discuss topics related to energy, supplying the market with food products and concrete joint projects.
The prime minister stressed that energy supply is a matter of special interest both for Serbia and the region and assessed that it is necessary to achieve a joint, regional approach in order to ensure energy supplies needed for the coming winter.
She stated that the Open Balkan initiative is a good platform for solving this issue in the interest of the entire region.
Prime Minister Viskovic said that the RS is trying to secure all the necessary resources needed for the winter in light of the current situation on the world market.
At the moment, according to Prime Minister Brnabic, several vital projects are underway that Serbia and the RS are working on together, the most important of which are in the field of energy and infrastructure.
Brnabic and Viskovic agreed to further coordinate the implementation of these projects and provide mutual support in supplying the market with necessary products essential for citizens, the Government of Serbia announced.
