Another product has been withdrawn from our market, and this time it is a skincare product, VICHY Liftactiv Specialist Peptide-C Anti-Aging Ampoules.

The volume of one ampoule is 1.8ML. The product is sold: - as a sample; - in a pack of 30 ampoules; - in a pack of 10 ampoules.

According to a warning issued on the Ministry of Trade's Unsafe Product Alert System (NEPRO) website, there is risk of injury.

"Over time and under different conditions of storage and transport, pressure inside the ampoules can build up and weaken the glass, which in rare cases can lead to the risk of injury while opening the ampoules. The glass of the ampoule can crack while it is being opened and cause cuts to the user," the explanation of the decision reads.

The recall of the product from circulation, as well as the recall of the product from consumers, has been ordered.
