Will Serbia have a "dream team" at EuroBasket? KSS announces Jokic, reveals situations with Bogdanovic
Serbia will be one of the main candidates for the gold at this year's European Basketball Championship (EuroBasket)! The first step towards that was made by Nikola Jokic deciding to play for his country and making himself available to head coach Svetislav Pesic from the moment the NBA rules allow it.
On the other hand, it is uncertain whether Serbia will have Bogdan Bogdanovic at its disposal, since the Atlanta basketballer had knee surgery, it is still uncertain when he will return to the court and whether he could be ready by the start of EuroBasket, which begins on August 1.
In a statement where he confirms the participation of Jokic, the director of the national team, Dragan Tarlac, also revealed that the situation around Bogdan Bogdanovic is uncertain.
"On the other hand, Bogdan Bogdanovic's health is such that it requires patience. At this moment, the most important thing is that he recovers and returns to the court in full glory, and when that will be is not entirely certain, because estimates today can only be approximate," said Tarlac, in this way refuting certain reports that Bogdan will definitely not play at EuroBasket, because that cannot be said with certainty at this time.
