Sport stars from the region have received an invitation to spend some time with children without parental care

As announced, after Wimbledon, Serbia's top tennis player Novak Djokovic will visit Visoko in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he will participate in a ceremony to open new tennis courts, and the event itself is expected to be attended by several NBA stars from the region.

Namely, Dr. Semir Osmanagic showed Telegraf how the works on building the courts are going, revealed what they will look like and announced the arrival of Novak on July 13. Also, Osmanagic announced the event "NBA Starts for Orphans," which should take place a day later.

"Novak arrived at the throne itself, he has been on that throne for a long time, and only then the test for a man begins, both financially and in every other way. He passed that test many times, precisely with his charity activities. By dedicating his energy, time and money to children, affected by various natural and other disasters, he shows that he knows why he is on this planet, at this moment," stressed Semir.

Osmanagic explains that all of our region's NBA stars are welcome, but noted that it is not known if all of them will be able to respond.

"Last July, we held our first event called 'NBA Stars for Orphans'. Three Bosnian NBA players, Jusuf Nurkic, Mirza Teletovic and Dzenan Musa were there at the time. And this year, we expect regional basketball stars, such as Jokic, Bogdanovic, Vucevic, Luka Doncic and others, to come on July 14, the day after the tennis courts opening. There are 30 of our players in the NBA league, so if five come, we will be satisfied. This time we will bring children from orphanages from Belgrade, Zagreb, Novi Sad, Split, Podgorica, Cacak and, again, from Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Mostar. We want our children, who understand our language, to go through these locations and to understand in the presence of these great NBA stars that one day they can, in a way, replace our parents. They do not have what is most important in life - parental love - but they will have these memories, which they will carry with them for the rest of their lives."
