Swedish hooligans attack corteo of Serbian fans in Stockholm, then flee after clashes
The Serbian national football team had great support on Thursday night in Stockholm, in the match against the Swedish national team played as part of the League of Nations!
The Serbians defeated the Swedes 1-0, thanks to a goal by Luka Jovic in the finish of the first half, and the Serbian fans were heard chanting from the stands throughout the game.
However, there was also an unpleasant overture to the game, when the said Serbian fans got attacked by domestic hooligans during their corteo (procession).
Namely, Serbian fans were on their way to the stadium singing, when they were attacked by a group of hooligans wearing Swedish symbols. After physical contact, the Swedes fled the scene.
At that point, the Serbian fans started shouting thunderously, "Kosovo is the heart of Serbia," and headed toward the stadium where they created a great atmosphere.
