Serbia boss Piksi asked to comment on Red Star supporters' disgraceful banner: See how the head coach reacted!

The Serbian national football team is about to play matches in the League of Nations, and before these, the Serbia head coach, Dragan Stojkovic Piksi, held a press conference during which he touched on the latest Belgrade derby played last week.

Namely, Piksi, a former Red Star footballer and director, experienced the Red Star fans "disown" him in a banner unfurled during the Serbian Cup final, expressing dissatisfaction with his leadership when he was the club's president. One of the questions during the press conference today referred to the head coach's impressions from the derby (the game was played between Red Star and Partizan), as well as to the banner that has been spoken about a lot in Serbia.

"It was a final between our two biggest clubs, it was a derby that we have to safeguard and nurture, it gives charm, the Cup final is sacred in itself. I saw a fighting game, I saw moments when some were better, then others, but the match as a match was decided by Katai with two beautiful goals, complete individual quality, inspiration, talent. A well-deserved victory in the end, great atmosphere, and I really have no comment on the latter (the banner)."

Serbia will play as many as four games in the space of 10 days in June, and the squad numbers 30 players, while the biggest surprise is the absence of Dusan Vlahovic, the Juventus striker.
