President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic today hosted Serbian Patriarch Porfirije and the bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC), who gathered in Belgrade for this year's regular Assembly of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

He thanked them for accepting to be his guests and discuss various and important issues for the Serb people.

"In conversation with you, we will learn a lot and gain new hope and energy, faith that by acting in a serious and responsible manner we can change our future," said Vucic and added that Serbia is in a much more difficult situation than it seems, and that "hail-bearing clouds" are gathering above our country.

"There have been many meetings regarding preparations for the winter, there will hardly be enough electricity, gas, oil," said Vucic.
