Prime Minister Ana Brnabic says a document from the G7 meeting refers to UN Security Council resolutions as a solution to every problem in the world, except when it comes to Serbia, and that only in the case of Serbia, there is no mention of a resolution, 1244 (concerning Kosovo and Metohija).

"Trivia: The document (Policy Paper) from the G7 meeting, refers to respecting UN Security Council resolutions as as a solution to every problem/crisis in the world. In the case of Libya, full compliance with UNSC Resolutions 2629, 2571, 2570 and 2292 is demanded; in the case of Syria, 2254 and 2118; in the case of Iran 2231, etc.," Brnabic wrote on Twitter.

"Only in the case of Serbia, there is no mention of UNSCR 1244. Because every member of G7 has violated it," the prime minister concluded.

Brnabic stated that this shows the complexity of the situation and the difficulty of Serbia's position, a country that respects international law and the UN, including, she stressed, "the basic principles of inviolability of the territorial integrity of internationally recognized states."
