Serbian President Vucic congratulates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed on becoming UAE's new president

President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic has sent a personal message to the ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, congratulating him on becoming the new president of the United Arab Emirates. The message reads:

"Your Excellency, dear friend, I would like to send you my warmest congratulations on the election to this most responsible of all duties, convinced that with your wisdom and experience you will continue to lead your people on a path of peace and all good and progress. Even in times of greatest sorrow and challenges, life teaches us that we must continue on the honorable path of glorious predecessors and ancestors. Numerous obligations and temptations always await us on that path, making the ascent much more difficult, but also every victory and success - much bigger and brighter.

Knowing your determination, calmness in making responsible decisions and top knowledge based on experience in difficult times, I am certain that you will lead your people to an even better and more promising future. I take this opportunity to assure you once again that, on that road, you will continue to have Serbia as a reliable partner and, above all, as a friend who does not back down even when many give up or turn their back.
