Miroslav Lajcak: Negotiations on license plates to continue on May 13 in Brussels
The special envoy of the European Union for the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Miroslav Lajcak, announced today that a new round of negotiations between the two sides regarding license plates will be held on May 13 in Brussels.
"I am glad to announce that after my consultations with the two chief negotiators yesterday and today, we agreed to continue our discussions on finding a permanent solution for the license plates issue in Brussels on May 13," Lajcak wrote on Twitter.
There was no agreement during a meeting held by chief negotiators in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina held in Brussels on April 22, dedicated to finding a solution for license plates, so the agreement on stickers from September of last year remained in force.
Acccording to the director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, the agreement from September 30 is still in force, and that was confirmed also by the EU and it special envoy Miroslav Lajcak.
