Vucic on consultations to form government: Interpretation of legal experts is awaited

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic stated today on the occasion of the beginning of consultations for the formation of a new government of Serbia that there are different interpretations by legal experts whether he can start the talks now, or only once he takes the oath for a second term in office.

"Consultations on forming a new government will begin in the second half of May, or as soon as I take the oath of office for a new mandate in early June, legal experts will see what the possibilities are," said Vucic and added that he is waiting for the final word from them.

He stressed that it is important for Serbia to reach an agreement to form the best government, which, he says, would tackle the big problems that await, not only Serbia, but also the world.
