Serbian Minister of Agriculture Branislav Nedimovic met today with Ambassador of Egypt Bessel Salah. The reason for the meeting are the requests from the Egyptian side to import Serbian wheat, corn and sunflower oil, as well as apples from our country.

Serbia has enough grain and cooking oil to export. Two years ago, the Ministry of Agriculture also provided permits for the export of grains to Egypt.

Further realization of the proposals presented today regarding the export of Serbian grains and cooking oil will be agreed with agricultural producers themselves, while Egypt is expected to officially approve the import of Serbian apples to that country in the coming days.
