Nature was generous with Gloska Mountain's beauty: Take a break from city bustle in its mesmerizing silence
When they want to learn more about the insufficiently explored mountains of Serbia, nature lovers set off for Bosilegrad and leave for the village of Gornja Lisina, on their way towards two mountain peaks.
One is called Valozi (sometimes Nisor) and is located at 1,830 meters above sea level, and the other Mecit, which lies slightly lower - at 1,756 meters.
The peaks are connected by the Lisinski Preslap pass, which is extremely easy to conquer.
After a walk in the woods and pastures, you reach the rocky peak of Mecit, which, according to some sources, belongs to Besna Kobila Mountain, and according to others, to Gloska Mountain.
South of Gloska Mountain, in the valley of the River Ljubatska and the village Donja Ljubata after which the river got its name, starts Bosilegradsko Krajiste, also known as Custendilsko Krajiste.
Although this part of Serbia is one of the least developed, nature has been quite generous here. Hence the desire of those who like to spend time away from the city bustle to do that close to Bosilegrad and enjoy the endless greenery and tranquility...
