Slovenian media: Pahor interested in replacing Lajcak?
According to the Slovenian media, the current president of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, is interested in taking over the position of the EU special representative for the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, after the expiration of his mandate, reports the daily Delo.
It is stated that after his term is over, Pahor intends to take the position of the EU special representative for the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, reports Kosovo Online.
When asked by Delo, Pahor's cabinet said that he will become a former president after the expiration of his term in office.
"He is not dealing with the question of what he will do in a year, because there will be enough time for that. Now he is fully committed to his tasks, which he will perform until December 22," said President Pahor's office.
