About 20 kilometers from Cacak, between the mountain peaks Ovcar and Kablar, there is a valley where one of the most beautiful gorges in Serbia is located.

The Ovcar-Kablar Gorge is about 16 kilometers long and recognizable by its meanders surrounded by steep cliffs.

What especially attracts nature lovers to this part of Serbia is the possibility of hiking, which even beginners can dare to do.

Gorgeous nature, clean air and well-marked trails leading to the mountain peaks guarantee that you will spend a few hours walking from the foot of the mountain to the highest point on it, strengthening your will and muscles. Also, there is a possibility that you can reach the top of Kablar by car or bicycle, but you will still have to walk the last kilometer leading to the observation deck.

When you reach the top and the beautifully decorated deck, you will be rewarded with a view to remember. The meanders of the Zapadna Morava, bordered by green slopes, are in plain view and stay with you even when you descend to the foot of the mountain and return to everyday life.

For those who are not willing to explore mountain trails, the picnic area in Ovcar Banja will be the perfect place to relax and escape from the city. Those who would like to get to know the surroundings better, but also the history of this part of Serbia, can visit the monasteries Sretenje, Blagovestenje, Jovanje, Ilinje, Nikolje, Preobrazenje, Savinja...
