President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic today met with High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina Christian Schmidt.

The two interlocutors analyzed the situation in the region, especially in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Schmidt expressed his view on the reasons for using the Bonn powers.

Vucic expressed his clear disagreement with the latest decisions and the use of the Bonn powers, which he believes do not contribute to stability.

Vucic and Schmidt agreed that preserving peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the entire region is of crucial importance for the economic progress of the Western Balkans, the president's Office for Cooperation with the Media said in a statement.

Tanjug reported earlier that Vucic would on Friday in Belgrade meet with Milorad Dodik, the Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
