A house that is completely walled up, without doors and windows. This structure has existed in a peaceful settlement in Sremska Mitrovica for years...

"Like there is no soul, horror!" someone commented on Facebook.

According to comments on social networks, this has been the case for 20 to 30 years. The roof has withstood the weather, but the facade does not make it easy to guess when the house received its unusual look.

Neighbors are no longer wondering about it, but a small number of outsider passers-by stop in this secluded street and take pictures of the unusual home. They say, it's a real mystery ...

"Maybe they got burgled ten times, so they decided, let's get walled up, who wants to keep replacing the carpentry," reads one of the comments on social networks.

But, who needs a house without windows and doors and... how do you get inside?

What is even more unusual is that the surroundings of the house do not giveoff  the impression of complete neglect, it's as if someone is carefully taking care of the sealed home, and that adds an even greater dose of mystery to the whole story.

The yard is not completely overgrown by grass, bushes or garbage, and the gate is not rusty or covered by creepers.

"It is not overgrown by weeds, someone maintains and mows the grasss, that person knows for sure the owners and why everything is walled up. It is strange, to be honest," was another comment.

Some grew up next to this house and experienced their first fears of the supernatural because of it.

"When I was a kid the windows were not walled up, people a little older (also kids) said that vampires lived there and that they saw body parts in the house. Of course, I believed it, and I was always afraid to pass by that house," wrote another commenter.
