Horror in Pozarevac: Frenchman and Croat kidnap 2 girls: One was beaten and abused, other sent back by taxi
Members of the Ministry of the Interior (MUP) in Pozarevac have arrested a French citizen, R.J. (21), on suspicion that he committed criminal offenses of unlawful deprivation of liberty and domestic violence.
The police also arrested a Croatian citizen, K.M. (26), suspected of committing the crime of unlawful deprivation of liberty.
They are suspected of forcibly pushing R.J.'s 20-year-old common law wife and her 16-year-old sister into a car in Pozarevac on March 27.
The victims were taken to Belgrade in a car driven by R.J., from where they sent the minor back to Pozarevac by taxi.
The 20-year-old is suspected to have been taken to a rented house where she was held against her will and where R.J. psychologically abused and beat her.
The suspects have beeen detained for up to 48 hours, after which they will be brought before the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Pozarevac, along with a criminal complaint.
