Horror in Belgrade: Man strikes woman with ax, tries to hang himself. They are both being resuscitated

Telegraf.rs has learned that this morning at around 8 o'clock, a man attacked a woman with an ax in Belgrade's Zvezdara municipality, hitting her with an ax several times, and then tried to hang himself.

The married couple quarreled first, after which he took an ax and injured her. When he saw what he had done, he tried to hang himself. Their neighbor heard the screams, came in and took him off the rope, and called the police.

According to our information, two ambulance crews were on the scene and transported both to undergo resuscitation.

The woman suffered multiple head and neck injuries from being hit with an ax.

In the last 24 hours in Serbia, three women were victims of their partners.

On Wednesday at around 11 pm in Vranje, a husband attacked his wife in front of their daughter, stabbing her with a 20-centimeter knife. The woman died yesterday in the hospital in Nis.

The second attack happened yesterday, three hours after midnight, in the Belgrade neighborhood of Sremcica. The attacker stabbed the woman in the neck, with their daughter witnessing the crime.
