Communal police officers receive new uniforms with motifs drawn from the Serbian flag and the City of Belgrade
Members of the Belgrade Communal Police are getting an image overhaul, thanks to the new uniforms that the City of Belgrade has provided for them.
The dark blue uniform has the coat of arms of the City, and the last name of the Communal Police member wearing it in the front, as well as the inscription "City of Belgrade/Communal Police" on the shoulder patch.
This uniform is unique, however, for its particularly prominent details of light blue and red, by which the members of this service will definitely be recognizable at first sight.
"Starting tomorrow morning, Belgrade Communal Police officers will be wearing new uniforms. Uniforms and boots are made from the best materials and have a modern design, with the motifs taken from the Serbian flag and the City of Belgrade. Right now, Belgrade has 505 communal police officers, and today we are hiring another 45. Communal police officers work around the clock for their city, solving communal problems, and are always on the side of the citizens. I am grateful to all these wonderful women and men for everything they are doing for our Belgrade. That is why they will wear the best designed and highest quality uniforms and boots starting tomorrow," Deputy Mayor Goran Vesic wrote on Facebook.
