Spectacle in Arena before start of World Championships: Best athletes in the world have training sessions
There is one day left until the beginning of the World Indoor Athletics Championships, which will be held in the Belgrade Arena from March 18 to 20.
The arena is largely ready and has been turned into a true athletics beauty, while the competitors have already had the opportunity to feel what the conditions are like, since the training sessions are underway, which will last until 12 o'clock.
As you can see in the video, everything is bursting with training.
680 competitors from 137 countries will take part in the competition, of which 372 are men and 308 are women. Some of the biggest stars will be, in addition to our Ivana Vuleta, pole vaulter Armand Duplantis, shot putter Ryan Crouser, Marcell Jacobs...
Our national team is also entering the competition with great ambitions and 13 competitors, with the main trump card being the long jump, where Ivana Vuleta is defending the title from Birmingham in 2018. There is no doubt that everything will be much easier for our competitors with the support from the stands.
The competitions in the Arena will officially start on Friday at 09:35 with the pentathlon event. The morning part of the competition lasts until 13:30, while the afternoon part lasts from 17:45 to 21:00.
