They came from Scotland by car to watch Red Star v Rangers: Got lost, ended up in Kosovo, crossed into Bosnia!
That the love for one's beloved football club knows no bounds has been proved by a couple of Scots who drove 5,600 kilometers to come to Belgrade and watch the Europa League match between the Red Star and Rangers. And, they had a lot of trouble along the way!
They shared their experience on a radio show after arriving in Belgrade, where they came after getting lost twice.
One of the Rangers fans explains that they started from Kilmarnock, and then cut their way through Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Hungary, but then the plot thickens.
🗣️ "Cut across Austria, into Hungary, end up going through Kosovo, over the border into Bosnia, into Serbia and we've just arrived at the Hilton hotel!" 😂🤯 A 3,480 mile round trip for Rangers fans John & Jack who've made the huge drive from Kilmarnock to Belgrade 👏👏 pic.twitter.com/oUyKSoeAI7— Clyde 1 Superscoreboard (@ClydeSSB) March 16, 2022
They somehow managed to get all the way to Kosovo and Metohija, the southern Serbian province, but after that made the mistake again and ended up on the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
That made the host laugh, while John and Jack finally hit the right route and arrived in Belgrade, where they will watch the rematch between Red Star and the Scottish side that starts this evening at 6:45 pm.
