During a tour of the BMTS Technology factory in Novi Sad, Aleksandar Vucic today said that Serbia "needs investors, we should be happy about (new) factories."

"It is very important for us that this Chinese-German company is considering Serbia in the long run, as long as there are cars that are not electric. And, as far as I can see, Europe is going back to coal and nuclear power plants (for energy), and the rest of the stuff they used to prohibit us from doing. That is your news this morning," said the president of Serbia.

He added that "the Serbian Athens" is "becoming a car hub" and that BMTS Technology can count on people in Serbia.

What gas price can Serbia expect?

"There will be no negotiations, essential ones, until the elections are over. So that those who gain the trust of the people will be able to continue negotiations with Russia," he said.

However, Vucic added that he "believes that Serbia will be paying a favorable price, one of the most favorable in Europe."

"But I can't guarantee anything. It does not depend on us," said the president of Serbia and added: "Across the Black Sea, across Constanta, no one can bring anything. There is no insurance agency that will do that. But we will try to keep prices among the lowest in Europe and have everything we need."
