Most sought-after apartments in Serbia have 56 square meters, and one square meter costs 178,000 RSD

The average price of apartments in new construction in Serbia last year amounted to 178,742 dinars per square meter, which is 7.6 percent more than in 2020, the Statistical Office announced today.

The cheapest were apartments in Bujanovac, where a square meter in a new building cost 50,032 dinars, and the most expensive in the Belgrade municipality of Savski Venac, where a square meter reached the price of 374,921 dinars.

The biggest increase in the price of a square meter in relation to 2020 was recorded in Belgrade, by 10.1 percent in urban settlements, so the average price was 255,385 dinars.

In addition to Belgrade municipalities, Cajetina, Novi Sad, Vrnjacka Banja, the Nis municipality of Medijana, Zrenjanin, Kragujevac, Pancevo and Uzice stood out for their high prices.

The newly built apartments that got sold had an average of 56 square meters.
