Vucic: Should Pristina behave irresponsibly, it will receive a responsible response
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said today in Leskovac that if so-called Kosovo is admitted to international organizations, as some want it to be, they will face a strong and efficient response from Serbia, which will surprise them.
When asked about initiatives for Kosovo's accession to international organizations, the president of Serbia said that there are several angles for perceiving this situation, and one is that they see a lot in the possibility of a global resolving of the issue of so-called Kosovo.
He pointed out that an article published by the Guardian, which is an introduction into various ideas, showed the kind of things that can occur to some politicians.
Vucic said that he sees that many want an accelerated admission of so-called Kosovo to international organizations.
"My message, without going into all the details, and we are analyzing everything thoroughly, is that if they start with that, they will be surprised by Serbia's strong and efficient response. If Kosovo were to join international organizations, it would mean the collapse of the Washington Agreement. Then they will find out about a number countries that have withdrawn their recognition (of Kosovo)," said Vucic, stressing he pleads on everyone to act responsibly rather than irresponsibly.
If they do behave irresponsibly, we will respond seriously and in a responsible manner - said Vucic.
