Horrific photos of traffic accident near Novi Sad: A bus and a truck collide, several people injured

A serious traffic accident happened this morning around 7:30 on the road Novi Sad-Backi Jarak.

A truck with Iranian license plates and a Becejprevoz bus were involved in the collision, reports 192.rs.

"The Novi Sad ambulance service transported three conscious persons, two men aged 59 and 72 and one woman (55) to the surgery ward of the Emergency Center of the Clinical Center of Vojvodina. The fourth injured person has been transported by the Temerin ambulance and we have no information about his condition," a spokesman for the ambulance service in Novi Sad, Zoran Krulj, told Telegraf.rs.

"There have been injuries in the accident that happened this morning, and that is the only information I have. There should be no deaths, that is the most important thing for me," the director of Becejprevoz, Bojan Djurovic, told Telegraf.rs.

"At 7:22 on the road Novi Sad-Backi Jarak, a traffic accident occurred involving a truck and a bus. Three people have been taken to the hospital for medical treatment. Traffic is taking place along alternative routes," we have been told by the Ministry of the Interior.
