Croatian tennis player about Djokovic and vaccination: "I knew he would not give in under pressure"
Croatian tennis player Borna Coric gave an interview for Croatian television Nova, where he touched on Novak Djokovic and his position on vaccination, which the Serbian does not want to be forced to do, even at the cost of not playing in Grand Slam tournaments.
Coric stressed that everyone has the right to their choice and that this must be respected, as well as that he is not surprised that Novak did not give in under pressure, because everyone knows how strong he is mentally.
"He is his own man and can do whatever he wants. I got vaccinated, but I don't have much to add. That is his decision and I respect that. He did not surprise me, we all know how strong he is in his head and that he will not give up under pressure."
Currently the 88-ranked tennis player in the world, who was once on the brink of the top 10, has been seriously struggling with injuries in recent years. As he says, unlike him, Novak has a healthy body, like a 25-year-old, and he believes that he is still the favorite to win Grand Slam trophies.
"He has the body of a 25-year-old, a healthy body, unlike me," Coric said with a smile.
