On January 12, the undersigned "Budimir Grom" filed an electronic criminal complaint against unidentified persons before the First Basic Prosecutor's office in Belgrade, alleging that they committed the criminal offense of Forgery of a Document.

The complaint stated that unknown persons created forged documents - PCR certificates, that were later allegedly used by Novak Djokovic for exemption from vaccination while entering Australia, as well as when appealing the decision to cancel his visa.

Acting upon the criminal complaint, the Prosecutor's Office performed the necessary checks, for which purpose a request had been sent to collect the necessary information to the Ministry of Health, in order to check the accuracy of the data, i.e., the allegations from the criminal complaint.

On February 2, the Prosecutor's Office was informed by the Ministry of Health that inspection of the institutions of the Plan of Networks (of healthcare institutions) determined that the certificates of the test results for SARS-CoV-2 virus cited in the criminal complaint were authentic, that is, that by inspecting the electronic database data during the supervision of the tests performed for the presence of Covid-19 for the person of Novak Djokovic, it has been determined that he had been tested several times and that the certificates regarding the test results from December 16, 2021, and December 22, 2021, are valid.

After the data has been collected, the Prosecution made a decision in this case and rejected the criminal complaint, compliant with Article 284, Item 1 of the Law on Criminal Procedure, considering that the reported act is not a criminal act that is prosecuted ex officio.
