Fiorentina's ungrateful owner continues to call out Vlahovic: "He wanted to destroy the club"
For years and years, they couldn't even get close to the spot in the league table that would take them to European competitions, while they probably don't even remember the last time they had a 50+ million transfer - but now that Dusan Vlahovic has given them all that, those heading the Fiorentina football club are hurt and offended.
Fiorentina catapulted to the upper half of the Serie A table this season carried by the Serbian striker, they obviously wanted more from his transfer to Juventus that was worth 75 million euros, while that greed is evident in the words of club owner Rocco Commisso, who continues to speak against Vlahovic.
"It was clear that he already had a contract ready. Every time I went to England, he eventually turned down the offers. After all, Vlahovic's consultants suddenly asked to double his salary and did not accept much higher offers from the Premier League," Commisso said, and continued:
"Vlahovic wanted to destroy Fiorentina, to stay until the end of the contract and go to Juventus on a free transfer. His agents wanted ten percent of the transfer and the exclusive right to negotiate the next move. They wanted to make money that way, they are dishonest and liars. The last time I saw Vlahovic, he didn't even say goodbye."
