Mysteries of Dragacevo: Unconfirmed rumor has accompanied Lake Goli Kamen for decades

Lake Goli Kamen is located 17 kilometers from Guca, in the vicinity of the village of Vuckovica, at 550 meters above sea level.

The artificial reservoir was created when a dam was built in 1990.

This lake is a paradise for both fishermen and excursionists who seek refuge in nature from the summer heat.

Although the locals in Dragacevo perceive this lake as their sea, there are those who do not dare to dive into its depths.

Namely, at the time when the lake was built, as Emir Kusturica would say, an unverified rumor spread through Vuckovica - that there is "hazardous waste" at the bottom of the lake.

Despite the fact that the authorities have repeatedly denied the stories about "hazardous waste" there are still those who believe that Goli Kamen should be avoided.

Fishermen do not share that fear - they are eagerly waiting for the winter to pass and the ice to melt so they can enjoy their favorite hobby.
