Almost 6 years since Pink Taxi co-owner disappeared without trace: His Mercedes found 3 months later

The co-owner of Pink Taxi, Miroslav Rankovic, 54, was last seen on April 12, 2016, and has been missing ever since. The search for him has been ongoing for almost six years and there is no new information about his disappearance, it has been confirmed for Telegraf.rs.

He was last seen in Uciteljsko Naselje in Belgrade, when he was driving a gray Mercedes and his mobile phones were turned off. Three months after Rankovic's disappearance, the police found his car.

There were no traces of forced entry on the vehicle, and only minor scratches. It was transported to the Belgrade police parking lot for expert investigation.

His colleague from Pink Taxi Aleksandar Bjelic told Telegraf.rs that there is no new information concerning the search.

"All I know about his disappearance is that he was last located via his mobile phone in the car. That's all I can tell you," Aleksandar told us briefly.

In the hope that of getting more information about Rankovic, we contacted his family, who said they had "no comment."
