A meeting of the Crisis HQ for the fight against coronavirus is scheduled for Friday, Telegraf.rs has learned.

The surge in the number of new cases began immediately after the New Year holiday, when large crowds began to form in front of Covid clinics.

The Omicron strain has been present in Serbia since December 23, and as Professor Dr. Tanja Jovanovic from the Faculty of Medicine says that it has taken over as the dominant strain, while Delta is also present.
