Is this finally Novak's victory?! Minister gives up on deportation, Djokovic starts training?
The drama around Novak Djokovic's participation in the Australian Open is not over despite the court's decision that the Serbian tennis player had all the necessary documentation to be in Australia and participate in the first Grand Slam of the season.
The latest information says that no radical decisions will be taken today.
According to The Age, Minister of Immigration Alex Hawke had four hours after the verdict was announced to return Novak Djokovic to custody, but he will not react within that time limit.
This means that Djokovic is free at the moment, and as things stand now, he will have his first training session in Melbourne.
