Several amendments to the decree on the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus have come into force in Slovenia today, which, among other things, shorten the duration of quarantine and the validity of tests, but also reduce the number of passengers in public transport.

According to the new rules, in order to avoid quarantine when entering Slovenia, passengers who have not been vaccinated or have recovered from the virus will have to show a negative PCR test not older than 48 hours or a negative rapid test not older than 24 hours, writes Tanjug.

Also, quarantine determined at the border can be ended by negative PCR testing five days after arrival at the earliest.

When it comes to vaccines against coronavirus, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia said on its website that our citizens need a green vaccine card which proves that at least seven days have passed since they received the second dose of either Phizer/BionTech, Moderna, Sputnik V, Johnson & Johnson, and Sinovac Biotech, at least 14 days for Sinopharm, and at least 21 days for the AstraZeneca vaccine.
