The government of Montenegro has adopted new measures in the fight against coronavirus.

From January 2, 2022, Montenegrin citizens and foreigners will be able to enter through all border crossings with one of the two pieces of evidence from the Covid certificate.

It is necessary either that the person is fully vaccinated with the prescribed number of doses of a coronavirus vaccine and that no more than six months have passed since the second dose, or that they present evidence that they recovered from Covid, provided that at least 10 days have passed since then, and no more than 180 days after a positive PCR or rapid antigen test.

In both cases, the person must show either a negative PCR test that is not older than 72 hours or a rapid antigen test for coronavirus that is not older than 48 hours.

It will no longer be possible to enter Montenegro only with a negative test.

Citizens of Montenegro and foreigners with temporary residence can enter the country without this evidence, but will have to self-isolate for 10 days, which can be terminated no earlier than three days after a negative PCR test.
