Serbia is pursuing a responsible policy, respects the Dayton Agreement and the integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), but also the integrity of the Serb Republic (RS) within BiH, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said about the current situation in BiH and stressed that Serbia is not interested in tensions in that country.

Vucic told the Austrian public service ORF that Serbia has the least interest, as the fastest growing economy, in seeing tensions in BiH and in the region.

"Serbia respects the Dayton Agreement, it never questions the integrity of BiH, but at the same time it respects the integrity of RS within BiH. Nobody needs problems in BiH, least of all Serbia, which is the fastest growing economy. Our policy is responsible," he explained.

The ORF report dedicated to the situation in BiH during which President Vucic's statement was broadcast, stresses that Bosnia and Herzegovina is in a deep crisis, that Bosnian Serbs are blocking joint institutions.

ORF points out that corruption, social problems and the growing number of citizens leaving the country are the negative phenomena that BiH is facing.

It is noted that elections will be held in BiH in October, and that Milorad Dodik and other politicians will use the nationalist card to win over voters.

At the same time, ORF states that there are no problems with the coexistence of citizens in BiH.

Former member of the Presidency of BiH Bakir Izetbegovic said that relations between the three nations are good, taking into account that there was a war.

"Croats, Bosniaks and Serbs have no problem spending days or doing business in any part of BiH," he explained.
