Vucic at United Russia conference, thanks Putin for always being with Serbia when it's hardest

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic today participated via video link in the conference "Global Challenges of the 21st Century: Inter-Party Dimension," organized by Russia's ruling party United Russia.

"I thank United Russia for having the honor of participating in the conference 'Global Challenges of the 21st Century: The Inter-Party Dimension'. Many thanks to President Putin, who is always with Serbia and the Serbian people when it is the hardest. Long live Serbian-Russian friendship," Vucic posted on his Instagram account.

According to Tass, Russian President Vladimir Putin greeted the conference participants and said that inter-party dialogue between states is an important component of international relations, because it helps in finding ways to confront modern threats and challenges.

Several other heads of state and government, as well as dozens of leaders of influential political forces are taking part in the gathering held as part of the events marking the 20th anniversary of the United Russia party.
