Kurti doesn't like Brussels agreement: "North Kosovo municipalities to start paying for electricity"

Prime Minister of the Provisional Institutions of Kosovo Albin Kurti said today that citizens living in the municipalities in the north of Kosovo will very soon start paying for electricity, reports Reporteri.

Kurti spoke in the Assembly of Kosovo to say that the Kosovo government is facing the consequences of previous agreements reached in Brussels, which, according to him, are unfavorable.

He pointed out that KOSST has continued to cover the diverting of electricity into that part of the land and that the government did not pay for that electricity.

"We were critical when we were in opposition, so today we inherited a situation that showed that we were right in our criticism. Many unfavorable agreements on Kosovo have been reached in Brussels, the consequences of which we are now suffering. The main arguments against us in Brussels are the previous agreements. With everything we know and can do, the day will come very soon when the collection of bills will start in the north because it is a great injustice to citizens," said Kurti.
