Djokovic's powerful message ahead of Davis Cup: To battle, go forth all you heroes!
The world's best tennis player Novak Djokovic is with the Serbian national team in Innsbruck, where he will look for a way all the way to the final, first through the group that Serbia is in with Austria and Germany. And Nole also showed what motive guides him.
Djokovic took a picture next to a panel with the lyrics from "The March on the Drina" song printed on it, and is seen pointing at them with a smile.
(The lyrics translate to, "To battle, go forth all you heroes, Go on and don't regret your lives, Let your (Mt.) Cer see it, let the Cer hear the battle, and the Drina River the glory, courage and the heroic hand of the Serb son")
On Monday, Novak arrived from Turin to Innsbruck, where he had his first training session with the team.
The first Davis Cup matches will be played on Friday, when Serbia will square off against Austria.
