The series "Black Wedding" which is broadcast on RTS and Superstar TV, has deeply intrigued the public, and for days now, people have been intensively writing and debating about this series and the Vlach customs that are presented in it.

Back in 1967, an RTS crew visited Vlach villages in eastern Serbia, precisely because of the strange ancients customs that are present there, but also because of the specific beliefs about life and death that are passed from generation to generation in these parts, Novosti.rs reports.

An RTS crew found wide-open windows on one house, and music in the yard in the village of Srbovo. A funeral was actually taking place in the yard of this house.

On that day, the son, who died during the fighting on the Srem Front 23 years earlier, was also symbolically buried with along with his deceased father.

A picture of him with a woman was placed on the son's wreath. At the time when the journalists recorded this video, the woman was still alive and was long remarried.

The woman in the picture was also present among the mourners in the yard, and to make things even more bizarre, her husband at the time was among those carrying the coffin of her former father-in-law.

The death of the man was actually seen an opportunity to, througg him, send afterlife gifts to his son.
