Prince Harry has incredible knowledge of Red Star and Serbs: Bodyguard reveals details
The name of the Red Star football club is well known around the world, and one of the main reasons is certainly the title of European champions the club won in 1991 in Bari, Italy, to top it off with the title of world champions won in Tokyo a few months later.
Also, Red Star (Crvena Zvezda) is widely known for its most ardent fans, Delije, who are considered to be among the most fiery in the world, while the atmosphere inside the Red Star ("Marakana") stadium is known globally.
Therefore, it is not surprising that Prince Harry also knows about Red Star.
This is what was revealed by Goran Dzeletovic Ajkula, a man who has provided security for some of the biggest athethletes and celebrities, and was on one occasion personal security for Prince Harry during a concert, where he disguised himself as a gorilla so that no one would recognize him.
Speaking for Pink TV, Ajkula also revealed his conversation with Prince Harry, who recognized the Red Star coat of arms on his t-shirt.
"Prince Harry is very educated, he knows a lot, he was always different than the others in the royal family, he would go out, come to our club, but I was surprised that he knew a lot about us Serbs. For instance I had Red Star's coat of arms here, he said, 'Oh, Red Star Belgrade, you won in 1991. You were champions'. And then, since I have a Saint Nicholas tattoo, he says, 'You have that a tattoo because the stadium in Bari is named after Saint Nicholas'. When I told him, no, he realized, "Yes, you have that family thing, which you call slava (family patron saint feast), with different saints," Goran Dzeletovic Ajkula revealed.
How different Prince Harry is from the rest of the royal family is best seen in the fact that he and his wife Meghan Markle renounced royal honors and titles, and even left England and moved to the US to live ordinary lives.
