Highest number of Covid deaths in one day this year: 68 people die, 5,725 new cases in Serbia

In the last 24 hours, coronavirus was confirmed in 5,725 people in Serbia, and at the same time 68 patients died as a result of Covid.

21,154 samples got tested.

6,729 patients are hospitalized across the country, of which 270 are connected to ventilators.

Since the start of the epidemic in Serbia, 6,425,079 samples have been tested for coronavirus, of which 1,174,333 were positive.

Covid has claimed 10,271 lives, while the estimated mortality rate is 0.81 percent.
